JJ&W Credentials
JJ&W's counselors have a strong commitment to driving forward the expansion of the public relations field with their behavioral-based theory. All JJ&W counselors are accredited practitioners, having earned the mark of APR by Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
APR is a sign of distinction for public relations professionals who demonstrate their commitment to the profession and to its ethical practice, and who are selected based on broad knowledge, strategic perspective, and sound professional judgment.
There are also counselors who have been awarded the honor of PRSA Fellow. Criteria for admission to the College of Fellows includes:
- Accredited PRSA membership;
- 20 years or more practice or teaching public relations;
- Demonstrated exceptional capability as a practitioner or educator;
- Exhibited personal and professional qualities that serve as a role model for other practitioners and educated and advanced the state of the profession through unusual and exceptional contributions to the field of public relations.
Our counselors adhere to JJ&W's mission, values and ethical codes, as well as the Public Relations Society of America's Code of Ethics. PRSA is the world's largest professional organization for public relations professionals, with over 20,000 members organized into 117 chapters nationwide.
